Welcome to ReefSource! My name is the Justin Adams. I am turning my passion for saltwater fish and and corals into a new local shop here in Jacksonville, NC. My goal is to give you healthy corals, top-tier supplies, and expert advice for your home tank. Now, there will be room for our freshwater friends as well. We can't forget them!

Why Saltwater Tanks?

Think of a saltwater tank like a tiny rainforest. It needs a careful balance. I started with a small 20-gallon tank in my living room years ago. Now, my hobby has grown into my dream business.

What is ReefSource?

ReefSource is your new go-to local fish store. We are building a space where beginners and experts can learn. We will carry:

• Captive-bred fish: Raised in tanks to protect wild reefs.

• Healthy corals: Grown in clean, well-lit systems.

• Pre-Made Aquascapes: Made for any sized tank!

• Entry level and Premium reefing gear: Neptune Systems, Ecotech Marine, Aquaillimunation, RedSea, Nicrew, Aquatop and many more!

The Science of Your Tank

To keep corals happy, you need the right water mix. We will teach you how to balance:

• Salinity: The amount of salt. We measure this with a tool called a refractometer.

• Calcium: The building block Ca that corals use to grow their skeletal structure.

• Alkalinity: The buffer that keeps tank acid levels steady.

• Magnesium: The "Glue" that stabilizes water chemistry.

What is Next?

Opening a store is a lot of work. We are busy building display tanks, filtration systems, and organizing racks. Soon, I will announce our official opening date. I can't wait to meet all the local tank lovers in our community!
